Our goal is to use local tradesmen, most of which are time served. In this current shortage of tradesmen, TBC are also committed to apprenticeships and NVQ training, helping to replenish the trade losses though retirement and natural causes. We work closely with the CITB and ECITB to ensure the correct training courses for our apprentices. We are also committed to retaining our staff by treating them fairly and listening to their concerns. We encourage them to invest in our company by listening to their good ideas and furthering our best practise.

Our business wide green policies encourage recycling of waste materials where possible, through segregation of our waste. We also like to employ local people to prevent travel, keeping our carbon footprint as small as possible. Our designers and specifiers encourage the use of low carbon sustainable materials, along with new low carbon technologies to help energy saving, reducing carbon emissions.
